Mission work is an important facet of the Roslindale Congregational Church. The church and its members take an active role in supporting a number of on-going missions.
The Roslindale Congregational Church supports the local neighborhoods with a food pantry. Donations of food are gathered, organized and distributed to individuals and families in the Roslindale area. For more information, click on Food Pantry.
The church also sponsors Overlook Farm in Rutland, MA and the Heifer International organization. Overlook Farm is a 270 acre working farm, which educates the public about world hunger, poverty and solutions through animal agriculture.
In addition to the Roslindale Congregational Church’s ongoing mission work, its members come together in times of need. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the congregation donated 70 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in Gulfport, MS.
